The word "ironic," laid out like a dictionary entry — pronunciation, part of speech, and three examples that famously aren't ironic at all. Rain on your wedding day. A free ride when you've already paid. Good advice you just didn't take. Pulled straight from Alanis Morissette's '90s hit, the design leans all the way into the long-running debate over whether any of it actually counts.
That double meaning is the whole point: a clean, typographic take on the most-argued-over word in 90s music. It's a quiet flex at a concert and a reliable way to reopen the "but is that actually irony?" debate at any given moment.
Printed in crisp white so the type stays sharp on every color, from heathered navy to berry, teal, and olive.
A fan-made original design. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Alanis Morissette.
